Regional Vice President Sales

The Regional Vice President Sales, Commercial leads the strategic direction of the Commercial Sales Team and the Sales Operations organization in Canada. Responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, channel programs, and business development actions to achieve goals and forecasts. Leads and manages sales growth and profitability of the country within the commercial channel through product mix, pricing, expense management, and delivering a high customer sales experience. As a passionate sales leader, you will partner with other Allegion functional leaders and team members.

What You Will Do :

  1. Partner with the GM of Canada to create, implement, and execute the annual business plan. Develop national strategies aligned with the Long Range Plan (LRP).
  2. Drive the sales plan, manage costs, and oversee the territory budget to meet financial goals. Manage these strategies through Regional Sales Leaders and their teams.
  3. Support and develop strategic priorities, channel programs, and initiatives to support sales plans and budgets.
  4. Utilize sales and management experience to mentor, coach, and develop the sales team.
  5. Establish and maintain relationships with key customers within the Canadian commercial marketplace.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional leaders to support Allegion Commercial Sales objectives.
  7. Handle performance management, talent review, employee development, talent acquisition, inclusion and diversity, and employee engagement.
  8. Maintain industry and territory knowledge by gathering market data on competitive activity and adapting to marketplace changes.
  9. Provide comprehensive reports to the General Manager, Canada, on business results and supporting actions.
  10. Ensure compliance with all Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  11. Execute channel strategy and develop new channels to meet strategic needs.
  12. Oversee the Commercial Canada Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
  13. Support the use of the sales funnel process in CRM to track and capture both new construction and aftermarket opportunities.
  14. Maintain ongoing communication with the team to ensure engagement in business initiatives and strategy. Host and present at team meetings.
  15. Participate in internal product and program deployment teams.
  16. Understand the competitive landscape and provide guidance accordingly.
  17. Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%.

What You Need to Succeed :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a Technical field preferred.
  • 10+ years of sales experience leading high-performing sales teams and setting sales targets.
  • Experience creating and developing value-added channel-based programs.
  • Proven ability to influence others with a bias for action.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of motivating teams to achieve outcomes.
  • Demonstrated courage in leadership and championing change.
  • Industry-specific experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel to the US.
