Are you a veterinarian who loves flexibility in your career? NVA Canada is seeking associate veterinarians for full-time, part-time, locum, and on-call opportunities. This role allows you to work across several of NVA Canada's veterinary hospitals in Ontario, providing the stability of working for a well-established organization and the flexibility to set your own schedule. You will experience a variety of sites, patients, and cases while building lasting relationships with teammates and clients.

Our hospitals feature state-of-the-art medical equipment, experienced support staff, and trusted clients, enabling us to deliver compassionate, high-quality pet care. Services include preventative wellness, urgent care, dentistry, surgery, and more. We prefer candidates with 1-3 years of small animal experience in general practice and surgery.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build rapport with clients by gathering information, listening to, and empathizing with their concerns.
  2. Perform physical examinations and diagnostic, medical, or surgical procedures delivering high-quality care while minimizing patient stress.
  3. Communicate with clients about diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health, and nutrition.
  4. Maintain accurate medical and surgical records following established protocols.
  5. Stay current with new medical information and veterinary medicine advancements.
  6. Present a positive image of the hospitals in the professional community and to the public.
Skills & Basic Qualifications
