Position Summary

Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed Regional Tele-Health Assistant. In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Regional Tele-Health Assistant (RTHA) is a vital member of the tele-care interprofessional team. This position provides essential administrative support to ensure safe and efficient primary care services via virtual support across Northern Health. The RTHA manages patient flow, screens and prioritizes calls, and resolves issues related to patient information, scheduling, and communication. The RTHA supports providers by managing medical documentation, sending consultations and lab requisitions, booking appointments, and assisting with patient inquiries and confidential communication.
