Job summary

Certarus Ltd. is seeking a Regional Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain CNG equipment at our filling stations and customer sites in the Fox Creek area.

This role reports to the Operations Supervisor and supports gas delivery operations with a focus on safety and reliability. Requirements include 3–5 years in a technician field, a technical diploma or journeyman designation, and strong communication skills.

Summary:

The Regional Technician will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Certarus equipment at our CNG filling stations and customer sites. This position reports directly to the Operations Supervisor. The position plays a key role in supporting CNG delivery operations while providing overall technical assistance to the company and our customers.

• Pay of $36 to $42 per hour
• $3/hour night shift premium
• Company vehicle
• Benefits starting day one of employment
• $2,000 sign on bonus

Schedule:

• This position provides a set shift schedule that allows you to get home each day or night
• A mix of day an night shifts are required to support operations
• 8 shifts on-6days off

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the overall plant and fleet operations in the region, while contributing to a safe working environment.
• Lending mechanical and technical services on process equipment and gas compression at Certarus hubs and customer sites.
• Setup and breakdown of pressure reduction equipment to/from customer locations.
• Ensure that internal policies and government safety and regulatory standards are met.
• Other duties as designated.

Requirements:

• 3 – 5 years of experience in a technician field role.
• Preferencefor candidates with a technical diploma, journeyman designation or 4thClass Power/Operating Engineer certificate.
• Journeyman instrumentation, electrical or mechanical is an asset.
• Troubleshooting experience with regulators, valves, instrumentation and electrical, and compression is an asset or experience in gas processing equipment including production, field gas or gas compression.
• Positive attitude with excellent communication and customer service skills.
