  • Plan and Implement Programs: You’ll develop, implement, and assess a detailed work plan for all project aspects, including key deliverables, timelines, resources, and milestones.
  • Evaluate and Improve: You’ll create a framework to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of your programs, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Enhance Access: You’ll explore methods to improve access to sports and recreation for community members, especially in rural areas.
  • Support Resource Sharing: You’ll investigate ways to support sports organizations in sharing resources and building capacity.
  • Conduct Needs Assessments: You’ll plan for regional sports and recreation needs assessments and community engagement.
  • Contribute to Regional Strategies: You’ll play a supporting role in the research, development, implementation, marketing, monitoring, and evaluation of aspects of FRSC and its strategies.
  • Take on Other Responsibilities: You’ll be ready to take on other tasks as required.

What You Bring

  • A post-secondary degree or certificate in recreation management, recreation/sport study, or a related field.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in the field of sport, recreation, and physical activity.
  • Event and project management experience is an asset.
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Ability to travel throughout the region to attend meetings and events.
