This position is responsible for providing on-site technical support, training, and product demonstrations to retailers, contractors, and end users.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

  • Provide on-site product training and technical support to contractors, retailers, and installers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations at retail locations to educate staff and customers.
  • Assist in troubleshooting installation issues and recommend best practices for product applications.
  • Support sales efforts by building relationships with customers and addressing product inquiries.
  • Update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system daily with relevant information and updates.
  • Report to the Sales Manager regarding customer feedback, training effectiveness, and merchandising improvements.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, contractor events, and industry seminars.
  • Gather feedback from the field to support product development and customer service enhancements.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and competitor products to provide informed recommendations.

Education:

  • A diploma or degree in Business, Sales, Construction, or a related field is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
  • Ability to travel into the United States for national trade shows.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a sales, technical support, or construction-related role.
  • Previous experience in the flooring, waterproofing, or home improvement industry is an asset.
  • Experience working with contractors and retailers is highly preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to foster customer loyalty.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records in CRM systems.

Base Salary:$55,000 base per year

  • Car allowance of $300 per month.
  • Company credit card to cover gas and travel expenses while performing job duties.

Work Hours:

  • 40 hours per work

Remote Work:

  • This position is remote (work from home) and requires travel and on-site work with customers.

  • This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
