Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Regional Sales Representative to drive growth by developing new business opportunities and expanding market presence. You will be the primary contact for prospective clients, manage the full sales cycle, and travel across the territory to meet sales targets and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of B2B sales experience, strong French and English communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

As a Regional Sales Representative, you will play a key role in the company’s growth by developing new business opportunities. As the primary point of contact for prospective clients, you will contribute directly to achieving sales targets and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new markets for our vending, coffee, and refreshment services to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to client presentations and closing deals.
  • Identify, target, and actively pursue new prospective customers within your assigned territory.
  • Negotiate and close contracts while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer records, sales activities, and performance reports within the appropriate management systems.
  • Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following Qualifications
  • A strong drive to generate new business opportunities, accelerate sales growth, and exceed established targets.
  • A minimum of two years of sales experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment focused on prospecting and developing new accounts.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining business relationships within a defined territory.
  • The discipline and persistence required to develop new markets and manage longer sales cycles.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, analytical, and follow-up skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English, along with excellent listening and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in French and English. Fluency in English is required to communicate daily with the corporate headquarters, assigned national partners and suppliers, as well as sponsors.
