JOB TITLE : Regional Sales Manager ("RSM")

REPORTS TO : Directly to Sales Manager and President

LOCATION : 5136 Sussex Avenue, Burnaby, BC, V5G 3K3 (business location). Requires work at various locations in or around the Vancouver, BC area, Full-Time (40hrs / week), Remote Work

SALARY : $48.75 / hour

JOB OVERVIEW

Responsible for acquiring, expanding and maintaining sales in their territory for all NETZSCH products and services in all business fields (Environmental, Mining / Chemical Pulp & Paper, Food and Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas). They will have a solid network and excellent track record of selling effortlessly from the field to the corporate boardroom. Must be passionate and motivated to exceed company sales targets and objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with corporate objectives, revenue targets, and market trends.
  2. Establish and nurture strong relationships with key corporate clients, decision-makers, and industry stakeholders to drive long-term business growth.
  3. Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
  4. Drive business development initiatives, including partnerships, strategic negotiations, and expansion into new sectors.
  5. Direct and oversee major sales negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements with key clients, OEMs, and corporate accounts.
  6. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet corporate sales objectives.
  7. Develop and present high-level sales reports to senior management, including market insights, revenue forecasts, and performance analysis.
  8. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and operations teams to optimize sales initiatives.
  9. Ensure CRM systems and sales reporting tools are effectively utilized to track sales activities and customer interactions.
  10. Represent the company at major industry events, trade shows, and corporate engagements to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
  11. Uphold corporate standards and policies while ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

  1. Have at least 3-5 years' experience with surface pump & systems
  2. Post secondary education preferably in Technical / Mechanical segment
  3. Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
  4. Excellent teamwork, coupled with a consistent approach of honesty and integrity
  5. Strong verbal and written communications skills
  6. Excellent negotiation and diplomacy skills, with a high degree of tact and persuasiveness
  7. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
