Position Title: Regional Sales Manager - Pharma Business Unit – Quebec West

Based in Quebec.

Reports To: National Sales Director, Pharma Business Unit

Summary

Leads a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets aligned with regional marketing and sales plans. This role is a second-level sales management position.

Major Responsibilities

  1. Achieving Results: Prioritize tasks effectively, set challenging goals, push for results, complete tasks independently, put in extra effort, maintain a positive attitude, and continuously seek to improve performance.
  2. Decision Making: Identify key issues, handle confidential information appropriately, understand priorities, evaluate situations logically, leverage resources, and make tough decisions based on data.
  3. Product and Therapeutic Knowledge: Understand disease states and treatment options, communicate product benefits effectively, differentiate products from competitors using evidence, and stay informed about the therapeutic area.
  4. Teamwork and Relationship Building: Build relationships within and outside the team, share best practices, lead projects, and promote a collaborative environment.

Management Responsibilities

  1. Performance Management: Set objectives, address performance issues, monitor work, prioritize tasks, optimize resource use.
  2. Staff Development: Assign challenging tasks, develop career plans, provide feedback, recognize growth, delegate responsibilities.
