We are looking for a passionate and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Industrial Power Sales, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of sales representatives, and developing strategic plans to expand our market presence in the region. To be successful in this role, you need to be a results-oriented individual with excellent leadership skills and a proven track record in industrial sales.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Develop and execute regional sales plans to achieve business objectives and sales targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to maximize their potential and performance.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective promotional strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
What You Bring

You will receive full product training, but a strong foundation and background in the following will set you up for success:

  • Degree or diploma in a related field, complemented by relevant sales experience.
  • 5+ years of robust sales experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • A solid team player and self-starter who can troubleshoot, resolve issues, and achieve results.
  • Experience in industrial sectors and knowledge of industrial products or equipment as an asset.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing National and Key Accounts effectively.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication abilities and exceptional presentation skills.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and negotiation skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and online inventory/sales management applications.
  • Knowledge of various CRM systems.
Other Considerations
  • Daily local travel and occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Ability to travel to US for training purposes, as per business requirements.
  • Valid G driver’s license required with a clean driving record.
  • Background checks including criminal checks, driver’s abstract and employment references will be requested.
