Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead market development initiatives, building sales, and managing customer, installer, and rep relations.
  • Identify, develop, and support superior sales talent.
  • Work with the sales team to drive market penetration of the ELEMEX lineup of exterior façade panels.
  • Develop, communicate, and support a comprehensive market plan for each market area focused on promoting the ELEMEX product line-up.
  • Expand the existing sales team by recruiting, training, and implementing a network of high-performance architectural sales agents/direct sales team.
  • Effectively communicate the ELEMEX market strategy to potential installer partners.
  • Identify and develop installation capacity ahead of demand and implement the Certified Installer Network operating model in the region.
  • Identify high potential National Key Accounts within the region.
  • Work alongside the Vice President of Sales to foster strong senior-level relationships with these accounts.
  • Develop regional sales and margin targets and sales operations budgets.
  • Coach, motivate, and lead the sales team of independent reps to achieve or exceed targets.
  • Create training plans and deliver training for sales representatives.
  • Provide input and analysis on the effectiveness of national sales and marketing programs.
  • Prepare regional sales forecasts and status reports.
  • Develop, prepare, and deliver sales materials and promotional programs.

Experience Requirements:

  • Strong sales leadership to build loyalty and long-term relationships with sales teams and customers.
  • Strong internal collaborator and communicator.
  • Above average oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated success working with independent architectural representatives/sales agents preferred.
  • Experience traveler with the ability and willingness to travel within the US and Canada (expected travel 60%).

Career Qualifications and Education:

  • A progressive career track demonstrating expanding levels of responsibility.
  • Excellent management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the sale of architectural/building products and a strong network in the commercial construction industry required.
  • A university degree or equivalent; a business degree would be an asset.
