Job Description

We are looking for an experienced sales person to join our rapidly expanding organization, and take over the role of regional sales manager. The person should be extremely efficient in sales with at least 5 years of experience in selling products and services. We are a small group of people but looking to expand the operations and the team over the next few months so our ideal candidate would be someone who can lead a team of motivated individuals and steer them in the right direction. The person should also be able to help in hiring new candidates for the business.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct and coordinate the activities of the sales department
  • Organize regional and divisional sales operations
  • Establish organizational sales policies and procedures
  • Help recruit motivated individuals to build up a sales team over time; train and manage new recruits
  • Create and strengthen relationships with existing and new clients
  • Cold calling to approach new clients and negotiate contracts
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Willing to travel, if required
  • Arrange training for staff
  • The person would be expected to work closely with marketing staff so knowledge of online and offline marketing tools would be an added advantage
  • The job is based out of our Surrey, BC office but the candidate would be required to travel to meet clients in different locations across BC
Qualifications
  • Languages: Good command on spoken and written English is essential. Knowledge of Hindi and Punjabi, although not essential, would be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of computers: Excellent command over MS Office applications, database software
  • Education required: A degree/diploma in sales/marketing is preferred
