Base pay range

This opportunity :

As Regional Sales Executive for Ontario, you are responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our client base by identifying, developing, and closing new business. Reporting to the President, your primary objective will be to promote and sell our services to prospective clients, while nurturing existing relationships to maximize revenue and ensure satisfaction.

This is a hybrid role with the expectation to work from our Toronto office when the selected candidate is not travelling. As such, the individual selected for this role must be physically located in 25 km proximity to the Toronto office.

Responsibilities :

Identify Prospects and Conduct Outreach :

  • Research and identify potential clients who would benefit from our services using market research, networking, referrals, and industry events to generate leads and build a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Proactively engage with prospects through various lead generation methods to generate interest and pre-qualify leads to tailor your approach accordingly.
  • Consultative Selling :

  • Lead consultative, value-driven sales meetings and conduct thorough needs analysis (“Discovery” meeting) to understand client requirements and uncover needs.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of client pain points and broadly discuss potential customized solutions to address their specific needs.
  • Articulate the value proposition clearly and address objections effectively.
  • Proposal Development and Negotiation :

  • Collaborate with our internal stakeholders, such as directors, managers, and intake, to ensure the proposed solutions are viable, cost-effective, and aligned with the organizations capabilities.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive recommendations that showcase the value and benefits of our services.
  • Transition New Clients :

  • Assist in transitioning new clients to intake and customer service.
  • Relationship Management :

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, assist in the resolution of their concerns and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing clients to increase share of wallet.
  • Achieve activity targets and sales goals or key performance indicators (KPIs) which may include revenue targets, new client acquisition goals, or other relevant metrics to measure success.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork :

  • Be able to collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, operations, intake, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and delivery of services to drive customer success.
  • Industry Knowledge :

  • Specify the importance of staying up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that could impact the delivery of services. Highlight the need for continuous learning and professional development to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Travel :

  • Travel within the province of Ontario will be required up to 5 days per month.
  • Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, health sciences or a related field.
  • Background from a fast-growing IME agency is ideal for this role.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, account management, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process, from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Solid negotiation and persuasion abilities, and a focus on consultative selling.
  • Ability to manage and be accountable for a book of business.
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong initiative and drive focused and purposeful with a target-driven mindset.
  • Excellence in communicating ideas and concepts with the ability to articulate complex concepts.
  • Professional presence, presentation, and public speaking skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (PPT, Word, Excel.)
  • Work independently yet bet a team player who likes to collaborate with others.
  • The Regional Sales Executive plays a vital role in driving our sales efforts, expanding our client base, and achieving revenue targets. They are a strategic thinker with a passion for selling services and building long-term client relationships.
