Surgical patients are often unprepared for the stress of their surgery, which can significantly increase the risk of delayed recovery, complications, and mortality. EMN has developed ENROUTE, a surgeon-recommended nutrition program to help patients prepare better and recover faster. The Role

As a key member of our sales team, you will be motivated to grow EMN's business by adding new accounts, surgeon customers, and patient end-users. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for learning our product offerings, generating leads, building relationships, managing the sales process, closing sales, providing customer service, obtaining feedback, and increasing product utilization within existing accounts in a defined territory within the USA. You will also support strategic sales initiatives and ad hoc projects.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
  1. Customer Nurturing
  2. Build strong communication and relationships with customers and key staff
  3. Execute EMN's channel success plan with regular updates and milestone celebrations
  4. Drive utilization of EMN products through referring surgeons
  1. Current Account Expansion
  2. Ensure surgeons and staff confidently refer patients to EMN
  3. Strategically expand by adding new surgeons or specialty groups
  1. Lead Generation
  2. Generate new surgeon leads via omnichannel approaches (referrals, events, cold outreach, social media, door-to-door)
  3. Personalize outreach through research
  4. Build relationships with industry reps and surgeon customers for direct referrals
  5. Maintain organized outreach records in CRM
  1. Presentation & Deal Advancement
  2. Present scientific and business value confidently
  3. Identify customer motivators and objections
  4. Navigate approval processes for individual surgeons or groups
  5. Manage timelines and stay organized
  1. Site Activations
  2. Lead onsite and virtual education/onboarding at new accounts
  3. Implement educational tools to ensure patient awareness of EMN
  4. Identify key staff in the patient education journey and support them post-activation

  2. Maintain a clean CRM
  3. Work independently, prioritize tasks, and contribute to growth goals
  4. Gather customer feedback on products, deals, and needs
Qualifications

Education: Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, nutrition, kinesiology, or science.

Experience: 1-3 years in B2B sales within health, wellness, pharmaceutical, medical device, or medical technology industries. Experience in orthopedics or with CRM tools is an asset but not required. Experience driving product consumption over fixed contracts is also an asset but not required.
