Job description

Our client is seeking a strategic and operationally driven Regional Operations Director to provide leadership across a portfolio of healthcare clinics throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

This is a high-impact, multi-site leadership opportunity for an experienced healthcare operations professional who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Reporting to the Interim Head of Canadian Clinic Operations, the Regional Operations Director will be accountable for driving operational performance, improving patient access and experience, supporting regional growth, and ensuring consistent execution across assigned clinics.

Leading Clinic Managers and Nursing Leads, this individual will play a critical role in building high-performing teams, optimizing capacity and resources, strengthening operational consistency, and partnering closely with clinical and corporate stakeholders to deliver exceptional patient care.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Provide operational leadership across a portfolio of clinics throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Clinic Managers and Nursing Leads, supporting performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Drive regional performance across key operational, patient experience, growth, and financial metrics.
  • Lead capacity and resource planning across clinics, ensuring teams and resources are aligned with patient demand.
  • Identify and mitigate staffing, capacity, and operational risks while addressing opportunities to improve performance.
  • Drive improvements in patient access, patient flow, conversion, cycle volume, and overall patient experience.
  • Manage regional financial performance in partnership with Finance, ensuring performance remains aligned with budget and business objectives.
  • Partner closely with Regional Medical Directors to align operational and clinical priorities.
  • Implement network priorities, policies, standards, and best practices across assigned clinics.
  • Lead the operational integration of new clinics and support broader change and transformation initiatives.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, Technology, and other internal stakeholders to execute key operational priorities.
  • Support EMR adoption and ensure strong data integrity across the clinic network.
  • Oversee quality, regulatory, accreditation, and compliance requirements, including audits, inspections, and regulatory changes.
  • Lead incident and risk management activities and ensure appropriate follow-up and resolution.
  • Represent regional operations in leadership forums and contribute to the execution of broader organizational initiatives.
What You'll Need To Be Successful:
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience within healthcare operations, including responsibility for multiple sites or locations.
  • Demonstrated success leading operational performance and driving improvements across complex healthcare environments.
  • Strong people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Experience managing capacity, staffing, resources, and operational priorities across multiple locations.
  • Strong financial and business acumen with experience managing budgets and operational performance.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with clinical and medical leaders while maintaining clear operational accountability.
  • Experience leading change, implementing standardized processes, and supporting the integration of new locations or services.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare quality, regulatory, accreditation, and compliance requirements.
  • An undergraduate degree in a regulated healthcare profession, health administration, business, or a related field; a Master's degree is considered an asset.
  • Experience within fertility, specialty healthcare, or another complex multi-site healthcare environment is considered an asset.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle, with the ability to travel regularly throughout the GTA.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
Compensation Range:

$150,000 - $175,000 base salary + bonus
