Regional Mutual Funds Sales Leader

Job summary

AGF Investments in Toronto seeks a seasoned sales professional to grow our mutual fund client base across the Niagara Region, GTA and north of Toronto, with occasional travel to Barrie and Northern Ontario. You will build strong client relationships, identify cross-selling opportunities, and contribute to district targets.

You will develop plans, deliver compelling presentations and provide market insights to advisors while maintaining compliance and accurate activity records.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of the investment industry with a minimum of 5 years of mutual fund sales experience.
• Proven sales ability with effective customer relationship building skills.
• University degree or equivalent work experience.
• Team player, self-starter, highly motivated and results-driven.
• Strong organizational and follow-up abilities; excellent presentation skills.
• Bilingual in French and English is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of account and business plans to grow sales and retain Advisors.
• Develop call programs to grow sales, retain Advisors and add Advisors.
• Establish and maintain relationships to realize sales opportunities.
• Monitor fund flows and advise Advisors to retain assets.
• Provide product and sales support to cultivate client relationships and drive sales.
• Proactively identify new sales ideas and cross-sell opportunities.
• Support dealers and brokers with market updates and strategy discussions.
• Stay updated on market changes and competitive advantages.
• Participate in branch visits, client seminars and industry events.
• Create and deliver sales presentations and conference calls.
• Maintain records of Advisor activity and ensure compliance.
