Regional Merchandising Labourer - Seasonal

Job Details

Position: Regional Floral Merchandisers (Travel within designated region to merchandise plant programs in large retailers)

Duration: Mid April to mid June (7 weeks)

Pay Range: $18.00/hr - $20.00/hr (based on skills and experience)

Responsibilities

• Travel to retail locations within your region to locate incoming orders
• Ensure products are placed on sales floor
• Manage inventory and pricing
• Provide maintenance on retail items

Requirements

• Personal transportation to travel between 2-3 locations per shift
• Availability for shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (and occasionally Friday), between 8am-4pm
• Weekly hours between 10-16 hrs
• Ability to bend, lift, push, and pull 20-50 lbs
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of floral or plant maintenance
• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building ability
• Quick learner with multitasking and time management skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Experience in merchandising, retail, or labor
• Access to a cell phone with data for online reporting
• Travel distance of 45 mins to 1 hour from home base
