Regional Material Manager for the LATAM / Canada area
Webuild group is hiring a Regional Material Manager for the LATAM / Canada Area, working from the Webuild office in downtown Toronto.
Responsibilities include :
- Supporting the start-up of construction sites by implementing necessary organization, processes, and systems;
- Managing warehouse operations throughout the construction site lifecycle to ensure efficient material management;
- Implementing processes and procedures aligned with corporate standards;
- Managing product codes in accordance with head office policies and training personnel;
- Handling economic planning, budgeting, cost analysis, and optimization;
- Designing warehouse layouts for covered and outdoor areas;
- Overseeing material logistics including receiving, storage, and delivery;
- Planning inventory levels in coordination with project units;
- Monitoring stock levels to match physical inventories with data records.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in engineering management, logistics, economics, or related field;
- At least 5 years experience in materials management, supply chain, or logistics, preferably in construction or infrastructure;
- Willingness to travel 50%-70% depending on project needs;
- Proficiency in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus;
- Basic knowledge of materials and master data management, numerical analysis, and complex data management;
- Advanced skills in ERP software and computer tools.
Nice to have :
- Experience on construction sites or in contractual companies;
- Experience in international and structured environments;
- Knowledge of technical and regulatory aspects of material handling and warehouse management;
- Experience using KPIs and scorecards.
