YOU ARE :

  • People focused with an ability to forge strong partnerships with Operations and team members through collaboration, positivity and strong communication
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Consistently evolving and delivering core HR practices while simultaneously cultivating our culture through new initiatives
  • Well-versed in HR practices, employment laws and regulations
  • An experienced HR professional with a minimum of 8 years of experience and CHRP designation
  • Experienced in US employment landscape, considered an asset

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR :

  • Leading, mentoring and supporting the development of P+C team members
  • Collaborating with P+C leaders to develop and execute P+C strategies and projects that align with corporate and team objectives
  • Being an integral resource to business partners and restaurant leaders on all people related matters
  • Handling a high volume of employee relations matters with professionalism, confidentiality and fairness
  • Supporting the employee lifecycle including onboarding, compensation, performance management, reward + recognition, and training + development programs
  • Implementing performance appraisals for a regional of locations
  • Analyzing trends in your region and providing recommendations on a quarterly basis
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of federal and provincial employment regulations
