Regional Manager, Business Development, AVEO Channel

Join CMLS Financial as a Regional Manager, Business Development, AVEO Channel.

Salary Range: $75,000 / yr Base + Commission

CMLS Financial seeks a Regional Business Development Manager to expand our Aveo non-prime sales team. Our Aveo brand aims to bring homeownership to more Canadians, especially where mainstream lenders hesitate. Join us to be part of this exciting growth and help more deserving homeowners achieve their dreams.

We are building a team of experienced, motivated self-starters with an entrepreneurial mindset to develop CMLS Financial’s Aveo non-prime product. The Regional Business Development Manager will originate residential mortgages via the mortgage broker channel, supporting an existing team of high-performance managers with backing from our experienced Risk team.

About The Role
  1. Develop and maintain mutually beneficial mortgage referral relationships with mortgage brokers in your region.
  2. Provide expert knowledge and sales support in the non-prime mortgage space, including product and underwriting training for your business partners.
  3. Take ownership of your territory’s volume objectives, ensuring deal quality and underwriting standards are maintained.
  4. Collaborate with underwriting colleagues to resolve issues with business partners.
This Role Is For You If You Have
  • Knowledge of the mortgage brokerage community in your region (preferred).
  • Strong background in near prime/sub prime residential mortgage credit.
  • Proven success in sales, relationship management, and development.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, written and oral.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple demands under tight deadlines.
  • Desire to earn above-average income leveraging your skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or marketing (asset).
  • Residential underwriting experience (asset).
  • Mortgage Broker or Mortgage Agent license required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
