Job description

Acts as a strategic partner and plays a key role in supporting regional and or business unit business needs and achieving objectives. Accountable for the overall execution of human resource services, policies, procedures and programs across the region and or business being supported.

The Role

  • Partner with Regional VPs & Business Leaders on strategy and day-to-day HR activities within respective regions / business
  • Execute human resource initiatives and programs to effectively deliver the company’s people stra and services
  • Manage, coach and develop team of HR Business Partners and or Generalists within region
  • Lead planning of change initiatives within the region and or business unit and ensure appropriate strategies and action plans are in place to achieve required changes; facilitate effective planning and execution in partnership with senior leaders
  • Diagnose organizational issues / needs & make recommendations to support culture & structural changes
  • Lead implementation planning and execution for talent acquisition, performance management, capability development and talent management initiatives for region(s) and or business units
  • Provide guidance and direction on all aspects of employee / labour relations strategy
  • Ensure appropriate planning and effective execution of organizational development programs for managers & employees by delivering or facilitating access to training on supervisory practices , interpersonal communication skills, team building, and other subjects based on identified needs
  • Work with senior leaders to ensure that people implications of business decisions are understood and considered
  • Use metrics and analytics regularly to help support functional business strategies, identify talent trends / human resources issues and uses to make recommendations.

The Candidate

Education : Bachelor degree in Business, Human Resources or related field is preferred

Work Experience : 7-10 years of similar role with experience partnering with senior leaders with a proven track record of delivering results and successfully managing change : labour relations experience required

Knowledge : CHRL designation preferred, Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, computer skills
