THE POSITION

Lead the orchestration and leveraging of the Integrated Customer Plan (as per the advocacy strategy) within assigned jurisdictions in order to produce conditions that will facilitate the successful negotiation / execution of Product Listing Agreements for BICL products.

Lead the orchestration and leveraging of the Integrated Customer Plan (as per the advocacy strategy) within assigned jurisdictions in order to produce conditions that will facilitate the successful negotiation / execution of Product Listing Agreements for BICL products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the regional Patient Access team to develop and execute Integrated Customer Plans (ICP) for specific customers / segments in line with Integrated Brand Plan (IBP) access strategy to achieve / surpass brand objectives.
  • Apply segmentation and targeting approaches to identify and prioritize actionable and attractive business opportunities based on customer understanding, relative potential and ROI.
  • Collaborate with ICP Manager, ensure Integrated Customer Plans define a customer journey built upon a strong understanding of customer drivers, engagement preferences and needs
  • Guide team Work with the cross functions as required to ensure timely, relevant campaigns are delivered via multi-channel tactics delivered in an integrated manner
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Affairs Solutions to identify potential healthcare system change initiatives / partnerships that are aligned to Ministry of Health objectives
  • Maintains strong relationships with key provincial decision makers and stakeholders to generate reliable intelligence with respect to the business and healthcare environment
  • Ensures that staff complies with all BICL policies including but not limited to adverse event reporting, IMC code of conduct

  • Provides clear vision and strategic direction to the Regional team in alignment with the approved brand and Access strategies.
  • Effectively communicates with autheticity within (and between) the Regions, cross-functionally and with head office.
  • Maintains and fosters a strong high performance, passionate, agile, customer-centric team with a growth mindset.
  • Maintains and enhances strategic network of key policy-influencers / decision-maker.
  • Drives continuous improvement and a learning environment.


People Development and Performance Management:

  • Creates and develops high performing customer-centric teams across the Region.
  • Drives and encourages good cross-functional collaboration, teamwork and a growth mindset.
  • Ensures effective hiring, orientation, training, development and retention within the region.
  • Assesses and coaches performance of PAMs in role and supports regional access objectives analysis.
  • Pro-actively recognizes high performance and manages low performers
  • Acts as an agent of change within the broader organisation to support a culture of performance, agility, intrapreneurship and accountability


This position is fully remote.

Employees in remote roles can live anywhere in Canada and are only required to visit the Burlington office a few times each year.

Requirements

  • University degree (Health Science or Business preferred)
  • Specialized knowledge of the inter-relationships between the pharmaceutical industry and the relevant stakeholders (eg. Ministry of Health officials, Health Policy, Drug Plan Manager, patient advocacy groups, special interest groups,healthcare providers, etc.)gained through previous market access/ government relation experience in the healthcare industry. (minimum 5 years)
  • Superior communication, public relations skills and strong business acumen
  • Exceptional diplomatic, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingualism required in Quebec

Our total rewards program reflects and recognizes employee contributions to the company. The salary range for this position is from $157,000 to $206,000. Performance, relevant experience and competency in the role is a key factor in driving compensation decisions.
