What You Will Be Doing

  • Pioneering AI-powered financial systems that fuel our rapidly expanding education ventures
  • Crafting strategic Design Decisions that transform complex financial processes into streamlined, scalable workflows
  • Providing expert written feedback on Deep Dives and Improvement Plans that elevates both human and AI performance
  • Engaging in strategic discussions around budget planning, market expansion, vendor partnerships, and regulatory compliance
  • Orchestrating seamless financial operations—from tuition management to tax filings—that function flawlessly at scale

  • Overseeing a conventional finance department with layers of staff
  • Getting bogged down in routine month-end closings or transaction approvals
  • Settling for off-the-shelf ERP solutions without optimization
  • Pushing essential tasks downward—you'll be hands-on in building solutions
  • Operating within a predictable, slow-moving environment—we're in rapid innovation mode

Regional Financial Controller Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and continuously optimize a cutting-edge, AI-enhanced financial ecosystem that empowers multiple high-growth education businesses with maximum efficiency and unlimited scalability.

Basic Requirements

  • Professional financial certification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or MBA)
  • Proven track record with 10+ years in progressive finance leadership positions (Finance Manager, Controller, CFO, or equivalent)
  • Senior-level finance experience (SVP, CFO, or comparable) with comprehensive oversight of all finance functions
  • Expert knowledge of US GAAP and integrated financial reporting
  • Substantial experience implementing and enhancing ERP platforms (NetSuite, SAP, etc.) in complex multi-entity environments
  • Track record of managing 5+ external audits with Big 4 firms, from either client or auditor perspective
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of effective executive-level interactions
  • Based within UTC-8 to UTC+3 time zones

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Knowledge of U.S. K-12 education models and their financial structures (private, charter, ESA programs)
  • Hands-on experience developing finance automation systems or AI-integrated workflows
  • Background in managing financial operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD / hour, which equates to $400,000 USD / year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
