Are you a strategic finance leader with deep expertise in financial processes, accounting and compliance? We’re looking for a Regional Finance Manager (m / f / d) to oversee financial operations across key markets in APAC, including Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, China, and India.

In this high-impact role, you’ll act as the Head of Finance for each country, driving compliance, reporting excellence, and financial insight to steer the business forward. You will be reporting to the Global VP of Finance, based in Germany.

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership, drive transformation, and influence outcomes at both local and regional levels.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Regional Financial Leadership

• Act as the Finance Head for multiple Asia Pacific entities, leading all accounting-related matters, local closings, compliance, and coordination with in-country teams
• Own and improve financial processes : monthly / quarterly closings, audits, filings, and compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and SOX
• Partner with operations and commercial teams to provide actionable analysis and support strategic business decisions
• Collaborate with global finance counterparts to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting

Accounting & Compliance Excellence

Lead and mature insourced accounting operations, driving process improvements, accuracy, and efficiency

Supervise and develop local finance teams, ensuring alignment with internal policies and accounting standards

Oversee external and internal audits across multiple jurisdictions

Define and implement clear accounting standards and reporting frameworks

Process & Systems Improvement

Enhance financial reporting processes and bring clarity to financial definitions and KPIs

Leverage tools such as Excel, Business Warehouse systems, and ERP platforms (SAP S / 4HANA a plus) to streamline operations

Play a key role in financial system and data integration across the region

Leadership & Change Management

Lead with purpose and develop high-performing finance teams across multiple cultures

Act as a change agent—build, improve, and innovate within the finance function

Contribute to strategic planning and play a central role in future-proofing financial operations

YOUR PROFILE :

Qualifications & Experience

Seasoned experience as financial leader, preferably with over 10 years’ experience in a professional services / project, financial and cost accounting environment

Background in advisory or audit with in-house industrial or engineering experience is highly desirable

Experience working within multinational or global environment, and business fluency in English is a must

University degree in accounting, finance or equivalent, with professional financial designation such as CPA or CMA

Solid understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, and SOX compliance is a must

Proven experience in managing insourced accounting functions across multiple countries

Knowledge and demonstrated experience with long-term contract accounting required

Experience with accounting systems and software tools is required

Experience with JDE version 9.2 ERP system and Services module will be considered favorable

Detailed knowledge of and experience with SAP S / 4HANA a strong advantage

Working knowledge and experience with Hyperion or One Stream financial reporting systems helpful
