Regional Environmental Assessment and Preliminary Design Lead – Greater Toronto Region

We’re reinveting our Greater Toronto Civil infrastructure team. Join our culture of empowerment and collaboration in the critical infrastructure unit. Parsons is a recognized firm in the planning and design of transportation projects in the Region. What You’ll Be Doing

We are looking for an Environmental Assessment (EA) & Preliminary Design (PD) Lead to help grow our business in the GTA and Ontario. The successful candidate will have hands-on project management experience for Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and Regions/Municipalities doing EA and preliminary design on roads and highway widening and/or interchange modifications. In this role, you will manage the overall EA & PD portfolio on both MTO and municipal projects and play a key role in growing our EA & PD business. We are currently working for the MTO and multiple Regions and want to expand our EA and PD team and portfolio. Supported by a strong design team the Regional EA & PD Lead will be managing EA and PD projects upon award.

The position can be based in one of our four major offices, with a 100% remote option available for the right candidate.

Qualifications & Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 12+ years of experience delivering major/significant EA and PD projects
  • Hands-on project management experience for major MTO EA & PD projects
  • Registered Professional Engineer
  • Proven background of leading multidisciplinary design teams on challenging, high-profile projects
