Job description

The Opportunity:

Are you a dynamic, compassionate leader with a passion for supporting diverse care teams and improving the lives of those in need? AgeCare is looking for a Regional Director to oversee all Clinical, Support Services, and Facility Services across our Continuing Care communities in Victoria, British Columbia. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by driving excellence in care and service delivery.

This is a Full-Time Temporary role.

What You Will Do:

  1. Champion Our Vision: Lead with purpose by effectively promoting AgeCare’s Mission, Vision, and Guiding Principles to inspire and motivate care teams and partners.

  2. Lead with Impact: Guide diverse teams across multiple sites, resolving conflicts with empathy and ensuring a harmonious work environment where every voice is heard.

  3. Collaborate & Support: Step in as a strong leader in the absence of department managers, offering direction and support across all aspects of community operations.

  4. Uphold Excellence: Demonstrate exceptional professionalism, integrity, and ethics in all actions, setting the standard for care and service delivery.

  5. Shape the Future: Play a key role in recruiting, selecting, and mentoring inspiring care leaders who share your dedication to quality service.

What You Bring:

  1. Master of Health or Business Administration or another related field required.

  2. 5 - 10 years of leadership experience in a health care environment and in a leadership management capacity directly supervising and/or managing employees.

  3. 5+ years of operational management experience including direct accountability for budgets and multiple facilities.

  4. Experience with workforce management, especially with a unionized workforce is an asset.

  5. Experience working in continuing care is an asset.
