As a Director of Operations, you enjoy leading teams in a collaborative environment with the goal of ensuring excellent service to Patients, Partners, and clinic teams. This is a remote position, but it requires extensive travel with frequent practice visits within the Greater Vancouver and Vancouver Island Area, approximately 3 to 4 days a week. Reporting to the Vice President, Operations, the Director of Operations will support our Partners across the province by delivering expertise in key business areas to optimize patient care and create stakeholder value. You are a proven leader with experience managing teams, supporting Partners in delivering top-tier patient care, and driven by excellence.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage relationships and support an assigned practice network, overseeing up to 15 locations and leading a team of Regional Managers
  • Identify opportunities to optimize practices, drive service excellence and growth, and meet annual targets
  • Develop and implement action plans for each dental practice
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies to enhance patient care and experience, increase revenues and profitability, and ensure practices meet physical standards
  • Foster relationships and synergies across the practice network
  • Improve partnership between Practice Community and Support Centre to ensure service excellence
  • Support practices and drive goals through Support Centre SMEs and new program implementations
  • Mentor, develop, and lead a team of Regional and Practice Managers

Qualifications:

  • University or College Diploma in retail, business, or office administration, or related experience
  • Three to five years of experience in multi-unit Dental Practice Management or healthcare industry
  • Strong business insight with experience managing P&L, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Proven ability to drive sustainable growth through financial and operational KPIs
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills
  • Proven project management skills involving multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Driver’s license and vehicle, with willingness to travel (overnight stays required)

Salary Range: $140,000 to $150,000 annually, plus a bonus of up to 25% and comprehensive benefits. Salary is based on experience and discussed during the interview.
