Job Description

We seek a strategic leader with senior sales experience in the luxury hotel sector. This new role for Canada’s Western Mountain Collection (CWMR) manages leisure and tour sales across the five hotels. The Regional Director of Sales & Marketing – Leisure and Tour will oversee the regional sales team, develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, maximize revenue, support existing client relationships, and explore new business opportunities. The role emphasizes innovative growth, identifying synergies, supporting cross-selling, and surpassing revenue goals.

Job Duties Include:

  • Develop and execute strategies to surpass KPIs in tour series, FIT, and luxury consortia segments.
  • Drive new business development and maximize revenues while maintaining key account relationships.
  • Leverage partnerships with travel agencies (Virtuoso, Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts, Signature Travel, etc.).
  • Provide leadership, coaching, training, and follow-up to foster team development.
  • Create and implement sales & marketing plans for leisure segments.
  • Collaborate with sales, revenue, marketing, and PR teams to optimize opportunities.
  • Manage regional budgets, contracts, and negotiations.
  • Support seasonal initiatives through itinerary development and marketing partnerships.
  • Oversee recruitment and performance management to build a high-performing team.
  • Partner with DMOs & PMOs to develop new markets and airlift opportunities.
  • Research travel trends to identify new opportunities for resort programming.
  • Communicate with the Global Sales team and advocate for CWMR needs within Accor.
  • Maintain collaboration with Accor’s Pacific Northwest region.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, host site visits, and conduct sales trips.
  • Ensure clear communication with stakeholders.

  • Provide prompt, professional, friendly service to internal and external clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • Senior hotel sales management experience in tour & leisure segments, preferably within luxury brands.
  • Experience in international markets and multiple properties, including resorts, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in marketing (digital/content) and PR to enhance brand awareness and partnerships.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, negotiate contracts, and develop revenue strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Hotel Management Degree is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and a results-driven approach.
  • Familiarity with Opera Sales & Catering, Microsoft Office, and flexibility to travel and work varied hours.

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel cannot assist with work authorization.
