Position Overview:

Reporting to the National Vice President, Business Development, the incumbent is a key member of the national sales team responsible for implementing engineering and environmental sales initiatives to support growth and new profitable products and segments. The role involves creating and executing sales procedures aligned with our growth strategy and contributing to strategic marketing, product, and branding initiatives. A strong background in engineering, risk management, insurance, claims, marketing, or sales is essential.

Responsibilities:
  1. Service clients by communicating Pario’s services and meeting their needs.
  2. Provide marketing materials to clients and prospects to ensure alignment with the sales strategy and accurate representation of products.
  3. Support corporate initiatives while managing daily business requirements.
  4. Maintain and track new business prospects and sales funnels using data analysis for decision-making.
  5. Assist with proposals, RFPs, presentations, and templates.
  6. Attend and coordinate industry events locally and regionally.
  7. Manage client accounts, plan sales territories, and provide ongoing account services.
  8. Identify and develop new client relationships within Ontario based on engineering needs.
  9. Attend client meetings independently and with the Vice President of Business Development.
  10. Develop market share with existing clients.
  11. Meet deadlines, work irregular hours when needed, and be available during core hours (EST, PST).
  12. Represent Pario professionally at industry events and internal functions.
  13. Become a subject matter expert on Pario’s products, processes, and industry news.
Requirements:
  1. Understanding of the property and casualty insurance market, especially P&C Ontario market insights.
  2. Strong business acumen; risk management experience is a plus.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with loss control practices and systems.
  4. University or college degree, CRM or CIP designation is advantageous.
  5. Experience in sales, marketing, and relevant industry background.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills with a customer-focused approach.
  7. Integrity, honesty, and team-oriented mindset.
  8. Willingness to travel frequently within the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, with potential national travel.
