Reporting to the National Vice President, Business Development, the incumbent is a member of the national sales team and is responsible for the implementation of engineering & environmental sales initiatives to support growth and new profitable products and segments. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting, creating, and implementing sales procedures to successfully execute our growth strategy. The successful incumbent will also contribute to the development of strategic marketing, product, and branding initiatives. A strong background in engineering, risk management, insurance, claims, marketing, and/or sales is essential for this role.

Role Responsibilities :
  1. Servicing customers by communicating Pario’s services and meeting their needs.
  2. Providing marketing materials to clients and prospects to ensure alignment with the sales strategy and accurate representation of our products, supported by the Vice President, National Business Development.
  3. Supporting corporate initiatives while managing daily business requirements.
  4. Tracking new business prospects and sales funnels, utilizing data and analysis for decision-making.
  5. Assisting with proposals, RFPs, presentations, and templates for the National Vice President, Business Development.
  6. Attending and coordinating industry events at local and regional levels.
  7. Managing client database, sales territory planning, and providing regular account services for defined clients.
  8. Identifying and developing potential new clients within Ontario, understanding their business and engineering needs.
  9. Attending client meetings alongside the Vice President of National Business Development, independently and with future Business Development Managers.
  10. Developing market share with existing customers.
  11. Managing deadlines, flexible work hours, and being available during core business hours across EST and PST time zones.
  12. Representing Pario professionally at industry events and internal functions, acting as a brand ambassador.
  13. Becoming a subject matter expert on Pario’s products, processes, and operations, and staying updated on industry news.
Role Requirements :
  1. Understanding of the property and casualty insurance market, with Ontario market intelligence.
  2. Strong business acumen; risk management expertise is an asset.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with loss control practices and systems.
  4. University Degree, College Degree, CRM, or CIP designation is an asset.
  5. Experience in sales, marketing, and relevant industry knowledge.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, customer-focused approach.
  7. Team player with integrity and honesty.
  8. Willingness to travel frequently within the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, with opportunities for national travel.

  1. Vice President, National Business Development (reporting line).
  2. Expert Field Staff for support, assistance, and promotion.
  3. Vice President & AVP Operations to drive efficiencies.
  4. SCM Marketing Department for support and coordination.
Relationships (Outside the Company) :
  1. Insurance Carriers, representing a thriving sales culture.
  2. TP Suppliers / Vendors, supporting risk management and operational excellence.
