Job Description:

Pario Engineering & Environmental Sciences LP is seeking a Regional Director, Business Development - Insurance based in Toronto, ON. The role involves implementing engineering and environmental sales initiatives, supporting growth, and developing new products and segments. The candidate will assist in creating sales procedures, contribute to strategic marketing, and possess a strong background in engineering, risk management, insurance, claims, marketing, or sales.

Responsibilities:
  • Service customers by communicating Pario's services and meeting their needs.
  • Provide marketing materials aligned with the national sales strategy.
  • Support corporate initiatives and manage daily business requirements.
  • Track new business prospects and sales funnels using data analysis.
  • Assist the VP of Business Development with proposals, RFPs, and presentations.
  • Attend industry events and coordinate with the sales team.
  • Manage client accounts, territory planning, and client services.
  • Identify and develop potential new clients in Ontario.
  • Attend client meetings independently and with the VP.
  • Develop existing customer relationships and market share.
  • Meet deadlines and be available during core hours (EST, PST).
  • Represent Pario professionally at events and functions.
  • Become a subject matter expert on Pario's products and industry news.
Requirements:
  • Understanding of property and casualty insurance market, especially Ontario.
  • Strong business acumen; risk management knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with loss control practices.
  • University Degree, College Degree, CRM, or CIP designation is an asset.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, and relevant industry background.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Team-oriented with integrity and honesty.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, with potential national travel.

Within the Company: Vice President, National Business Development; Expert Field Staff; Vice President & AVP Operations; SCM Marketing Department.

Outside the Company: Insurance carriers, suppliers, and vendors.
