Job summary

Manitoba Métis Federation (MMF) seeks a full-time Regional Coordinator for the Métis Employment & Training Department at the Brandon, MB office. The role oversees regional employment and training programs, staff supervision, and collaboration with local communities.

The successful candidate will manage funding, sustain partnerships, and ensure compliant operations while supporting Métis communities in the region. Travel within the region is required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent with management experience.
• At least 1 year supervising staff and teams.
• Minimum 2 years coordinating employment & training programs.
• Ability to read and reconcile financial statements and reports.
• Demonstrated leadership, accountability and meeting deadlines.
• Strong time and resource management skills.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MET Regional office operations in a client-centered, cost-effective way.
• Supervise MET staff and support performance reviews.
• Collaborate with Local committee to run programs and services.
• Review funding applications and prepare action recommendations.
• Manage contractual financial obligations per agreements.
• Lead communications for the MET Regional Office.
• Build and maintain networks with local, provincial, federal bodies and stakeholders.
