Qualifications

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Regional Asset Protection Manager – Eastern Canada, you will play a vital role in fostering the growth and effectiveness of Sephora's Asset Protection team within your assigned region. Your primary objective will be to implement comprehensive programs that safeguard the company's assets, employees, and brand. Collaborating closely with the Director of Asset Protection, you will work in partnership to ensure the highest level of protection for Sephora's properties and uphold its esteemed reputation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

· Develop, implement, and execute effective asset protection strategies to reduce shrink in high-risk stores

· Analyze asset protection activities and shrink performance to identify areas for improvement

· Create new programs targeting shrink reduction based on internal, external, and operational losses

· Lead the execution of asset protection programs, including Inventory, High Shrink Programs, and Operation Excellence audits

· Coordinate and plan trainings for the Asset Protection department in collaboration with the AP Manager

· Collaborate with U.S counterparts on programs and trainings

· Oversee and support regional New Store Openings with an asset protection focus

· Promote inclusive hiring and equitable advancement practices in the region

· Train and develop District Asset Protection Managers in the designated region

· Cultivate positive relationships with police departments, mall security, and mall management teams

· Assist in building tools for internal investigations

· Maintain a balanced shrink % by meeting shrink goals approved by Finance, Asset Protection, leadership, and Sephora Global

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

· Minimum 4-6 years of District Asset Protection Manager experience in multi-unit retail environments

· Strong leadership skills for effective collaboration with store management, employees, and cross-functional teams

· Proven track record in handling sensitive loss prevention issues ethically, with a proactive approach to teambuilding

· Knowledge of criminal and civil law as it applies to the retail environment

· Passion for collaboration, creativity, and bringing new insights to the team

· Proven organizational skills, time management, and task prioritization abilities

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as loss prevention applications and store systems

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Outstanding interpersonal, coaching, and conflict resolution skills

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify trends and develop effective solutions

· Ability to develop clear and concise plans, policies, and procedures

· Willingness to travel routinely within assigned regions (approximately 80% travel, including local and out-of-town)

· Wicklander-Zulawski certification

· Comfortable working in a fragrance-filled environment

· Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience

· Bilingual (French & English)
