What You Will Do
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will help achieve quarterly and annual sales goals. Driving business transaction consistency and pipeline growth are crucial at Forescout!
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities at assigned accounts. Drive business development and pre-sales initiatives leveraging your industry and technical expertise.
  • Develop deep understanding of clients’ business priorities, challenges, and initiatives to translate into ForeScout solutions. Build trusted relationships within the account to become a trusted advisor.
  • Utilize knowledge of technology, products, processes, and industry to assess and educate customers on the value of ForeScout’s solutions.
  • Establish multi-level relationships within accounts using internal and external resources, including channel partners, to maximize revenue opportunities and position ForeScout as a strategic partner.
  • Manage accounts and opportunities effectively, supported by a virtual team including senior executives, sales, product management, engineering, and partners.
  • Coordinate with delivery teams to leverage follow-on business from one project to the next. Understand how to solution-sell multi-product software and hardware solutions.
  • Exhibit excellent presentation skills.
  • Work effectively across all organizational levels within large, complex companies.
  • Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with customers and partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Professional Services to meet and exceed targets.
  • Develop strong business development and negotiation skills, influencing contract terms.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Manage multiple tasks while paying attention to details and deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Travel as needed for customer meetings, promoting Forescout messaging, and advancing sales campaigns.
