The Opportunity :

Canadian Linen and Uniform Services is looking to hire a Regional Account Executive to join our team.

The REGIONAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (RAE) will identify new high-profile regional account opportunities, secure agreements for both rental and direct sale programs via the phone and in-person customer visits. Furthermore, this role will be responsible for collaborating with the Key Account Management organization for a seamless client transition.

What you’ll do :

  • Prospect and qualify regional / national account opportunities for single and multi-location deals.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of short, intermediate and long-term opportunities.
  • Identify ways to grow margin while identify process / cost improvements for customers.
  • Update and maintain our CRM (Salesforce) well as provide reports on corporate accounts pursuits.
  • Generate weekly (activity level & results) reports.
  • Attend trade shows / training sessions when necessary and coordinate and follow-up selected direct mail and calling programs.
  • Collaborate with Field Sales and Key Account Management organizations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

We are looking for individuals who are :

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • 5-7 years outside sales business-to-business (B2B) selling is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills for Microsoft Office and Sales automation
  • Strong track record of hunter sales; Strong knowledge of the Challenge Sales process.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the prospect’s organization.
  • Candidate must be willing to travel up to 70% of the time.
  • Candidate must be located within his / her selling territory.
  • A valid driver’s license
