***Float Position between Aurora and Cassville with 12-hour shifts working days and nights***

Overview:

Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, following physician's orders. Consults with physicians on the effectiveness of therapy. Acts as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of CoArc-accredited Respiratory Care program.
  • Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and holds a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
  • Certifications: Holds the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC. Emergency Room staff require PALS certification.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs., pinch up to 10 lbs., and perform kneeling, crouching, and crawling as needed.
  • Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.
  • Preferred Education: ACLS certification.
  • Preferred Experience: Critical care experience preferred.
