Position

Refrigeration Technician

What you bring

• 2 to 5 years' experience as a refrigeration technician
• 313A journeymen or red seal refrigeration mechanic
• G2 / G1 are assets but not required
• Experience diagnosing and trouble-shooting commercial refrigeration equipment
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Valid driver's license with a relatively clean driving record
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, accountable and self-driven
• Must be available to work overtime and participate in the on-call rotation
• Able to occasionally travel to work at other locations as needed, or travel for training purposes

Responsibilities

• Service and repair refrigeration equipment including display cases, walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-in and undercounter coolers/freezers, ice machines, and reach-in blast chillers
• Service cooking equipment (gas, steam, and electric) such as dishwashing equipment, ranges, fryers, steamers, and combi-ovens
• Use industry knowledge to service complex equipment while delivering exceptional customer service
• Collaborate with customers to ensure timely and effective resolutions
• Support future training and educational goals as needed
