Responsibilities :

• Service, repair, and install HVAC-R systems and components, including compressors, condensers, and other equipment.
• Perform regular maintenance on HVAC-R systems, including changing filters, lubricating moving parts, and checking electrical connections to ensure proper performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC-R systems and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Perform repair work, including replacing worn or broken parts, repairing refrigerant leaks, and adjusting system controls.
• Monitor and test HVAC-R systems to ensure efficiency and safety compliance.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and installations.
• Participate in training to stay updated with industry innovations.

Requirements :

• Red Seal Refrigeration Mechanic Journeyman certification or 3+ years Refrigeration Mechanic Apprentice certification.
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience as an HVAC-R technician.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC-R systems, including service, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Ability to work with electrical and refrigeration systems.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
