The Opportunity

Put your HVAC/R expertise to work in a new way. This role lets you apply your technical knowledge without the daily physical demands of rooftop or field-heavy work. You’ll guide and support technicians, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure projects are completed successfully.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide troubleshooting and technical guidance via phone, email, Teams, and site visits.
  • Support contractors with installations and system commissioning.
  • Deliver practical solutions to keep jobs on track and customers satisfied.
  • Occasionally step into the field—without the full-time physical strain.
  • Based in Edmonton, this role includes reimbursed travel across Alberta and occasional support for our Calgary office.

Location: Edmonton, AB (travel across Alberta required)

Salary: $75,000–$95,000/year + Bonus

Schedule: Full-Time Monday–Friday

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted resource for technicians and contractors seeking technical assistance
  • Provide troubleshooting expertise on VRF/VRV systems, controls, electronics, and installation challenges
  • Support commissioning and service activities both remotely and during site visits
  • Deliver and facilitate technical training sessions through Microsoft Teams or in person
  • Partner with the sales and engineering teams to address and resolve product concerns
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and related tools
Qualifications
  • A Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic certification (mandatory)
  • 5+ years of hands-on HVAC field experience
  • Solid knowledge of wiring, controls, and electronic systems
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work well with others
  • Background in training apprentices or coaching peers is a strong asset
  • Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and virtual meeting tools
  • A valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle (all travel costs covered)
  • Nice-to-have extras: VRF/VRV expertise, AutoCAD exposure, First Aid, Fall Protection, or Forklift certification
