Our model is comprised of local branch teams with fully qualified personnel representing HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing/gas fitting, sheet metal, and electrical trades. TheRefrigeration/HVAC Apprenticeis responsible for providing installation, preventive maintenance, service, and repair on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in a commercial and industrial setting while show casing exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Servicing new and existing accounts by analyzing work orders, investigating complaints, identifying solutions, conducting tests, and resolving problems
• Troubleshooting issues with all commercial and industrial HVAC / Refrigeration equipment
• Installing or retrofitting equipment as per specifications, customer requests, blueprints or the current building / plumbing codes
• Inspecting product quality and installation to ensure conformance and customer satisfaction
• Documenting service and installation actions by completing electronic forms, reports, logs, and records

Other required duties may be assigned that fall within the parameters of the primary responsibility of the position.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Must have completed Technical Training 2 (TT2) at a recognized post-secondary institution;
• Available for rotating on call shifts;
• Valid class 5 driver’s license with an acceptable 5 year driver's abstract;
• Valid safety certifications such as First Aid, WHMIS, TDG, CSTS, PSTS, Fall Protection, AWP, H2S Alive, Elevated Work Platform, Energy Safety Canada are considered an asset.
