The Position:

Neelands Group Limited is searching for a Refrigeration Controls Integration Specialist (313A Journeyman) to join our team at the Burlington, Ontario location. This is a regular, full-time union position with a full union compensation package. Reporting to the Senior Controls Manger. This candidate will use field installation, service and control experience to program, install and support control system platforms.

Responsibilities:

This is a permanent UA 787 position. The candidate will work independently with other contractors in the installation of the Micro Thermo Control System. Duties will include programming of MT Data Logger according to Ref Schedule and Store layout, HVAC, Lighting, Energy programs. Installation of associated Hardware and Peripherals, provide training to customers at store level.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years Journeymen 313A Refrigeration
• Five years’ service or control experience an asset
• Strong base for refrigeration theory and system operation
• Knowledge and experience of CO2 refrigeration systems an asset
• Computer development skills an asset
• Electrical theory and troubleshooting
• Refrigeration systems, components, and the vapor compression cycle
• Experience with refrigeration controls (Emerson & Micro Thermo)
• Full G driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
• Ability to travel/stay out of town
• Member of the UA Local 787 is considered an asset
