Job Summary

A refrigeration technician is responsible for the maintenance, service, and installation of various refrigeration systems and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintenance, service, and installation of various refrigeration systems and air conditioning systems.
  2. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  3. Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.
  4. Adhere to the Company’s Quality System operating procedures.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Education and Experience

  1. Grade 12 completion and acceptance into the refrigeration apprenticeship program through Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
  2. Successful completion of the pre-employment refrigeration program at Saskatchewan Polytechnic within 3 months of completion date if not currently working as an apprentice with another contractor.
