Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Fully understand dock handling and duties of dock loaders and dock receivers.
• Load straight-trucks and trailers, ensuring correct temperatures and no damages.
• Assess freight volumes, cubing, re-weighing and provide reports as needed.
• Set up dock floor and line up freight for efficient tracking.
• Cross-reference freight bills with manifests and ensure legal weights and space.
• Operate pallet-jack and forklift safely; report equipment repairs.
