Job summary

Jobgether seeks an experienced Refinery Consulting Engagement Manager for Gasoline Blending & Energy Intensity (NA) in Canada. You will lead complex refinery improvement engagements, manage cross-functional teams, and drive measurable operational and financial gains across North America.

You will interact with senior client stakeholders, oversee project planning to delivery, and pursue additional opportunities to grow client value, with approximately 80% travel to client sites in Canada and the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering or related refinery field.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is valued.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and close-out of oil and gas refinery improvement projects.
• Develop proposals and implementation plans with timelines, staffing, and resources.
• Define work plans, monitor progress, and adjust schedules to maintain momentum and quality.
• Build relationships with client project teams as trusted points of contact.
• Monitor milestones, financials, timelines, and sustainable improvements to ensure value.
• Communicate project status to management and clients, flag risks and actions.
• Identify risks, resolve conflicts, and pursue additional opportunities with clients.
• Mentor operations professionals and support development plans.
• Contribute to internal process improvements and policy adherence.
