The Licensed Truck/Tractor Technicians will work in conjunction with the Service Coordinator, Tractor Technician/Mechanics, Trailer Technician/Mechanics and Apprentices to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections and prescribing the correct remedial action.

Pay and Shift Schedules:

• Pay rate is $34/per hour and up. Pay will vary based on experience.
• This position is a full-time, permanent position and is subject to a continental shift schedule (2, 2, 3).

Qualifications:

• A Red Seal Heavy-Duty Truck/Tractor Technician
• Experience working on tractors and trailers as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic
• Demonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilities will be key to your success in this position
• Previous experience and qualification to perform Safeties are considered mandatory in this position
• Ability to provide superior customer service to our Drivers
• Support and encourage Apprentices throughout their apprenticeship
• Basic level computer skills (paperless work order entry)
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Valid AB Class 5 Driver's License
