As a key member of our Tool & Die team, you will design, manufacture, and modify precision tooling, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to support high-quality production. WHAT YOU WILL DO :

• Design, build, and modify tooling, fixtures, jigs, patterns, and gauges to enhance production.
• Collaborate with engineers and machinists to develop innovative tooling solutions.
• Interpret technical drawings and layouts with precise dimensions.
• Set up and operate machine tools, ensuring compliance with tolerances and standards.
• Perform finishing, assembly, and testing of dies and presses.
• Analyze and troubleshoot tooling issues to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Maintain and repair tools for longevity and performance.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• Certification: Red Seal Journeyperson Tool & Die Maker / Machinist or Manitoba / Interprovincial Trade Certificate in Tool & Die Making / Machining.
• Ability to read blueprints, CAD models, and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
• Experience with manual and CNC machining; CNC programming is an asset.
• Knowledge of press setup and die maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
