Job summary

Fox Harb’r Resort is seeking a qualified electrician to install, inspect, and repair electrical systems across the resort. The role emphasizes safe, code-compliant work and proactive maintenance of electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, upgrading wiring, and maintaining thorough documentation while collaborating with the maintenance team to support facility improvements.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certification required for electricians.
• Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems, equipment, fixtures, and controls throughout the resort.
• Diagnose electrical and electronic faults and repair or replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Install, modify, and upgrade wiring, electrical devices, and distribution systems as required.
• Test electrical systems and components to verify safe and proper operation.
• Respond to maintenance service requests and operational issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Support maintenance projects and facility improvements as required.
• Contribute to a safe and professional work environment.

Education

Red Seal Electrician Certification
