Job summary

Pitt Meadows Plumbing and Mechanical Systems is seeking experienced Red Seal Plumbers for long-term, full-time positions across the Lower Mainland. You will read and interpret mechanical drawings, install mechanical and plumbing services, and ensure work meets the BC Plumbing Code.

Qualifications

• Completion of the Plumbing Apprenticeship Program or Red Seal Certification is required.
• Minimum of 4 years in the mechanical construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Ability to read drawings of other disciplines and work from BC Plumbing Code requirements.
• Must be legally entitled to work full-time hours in Canada.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings of the assigned project(s).
• Install mechanical services per the drawings.
• Install plumbing services per the BC Plumbing Code.
• Maintain a clean and tidy working area.
• Read drawings of other disciplines.
• Comply with QA/QC requirements on the job site.
• Follow safety guidelines and requirements.
• Lead, motivate and train apprentices.
• Perform other duties as required.
