Job description

Our client in industrial production/manufacturing is looking for a Red Seal Millwright to join their team in Vancouver, BC.

You will be responsible for maintenance, repair, installation, assembly, and troubleshooting for various plant equipment and machines. You will be working with a crew and being a mentor for apprentices while on your shift. You will lead by example and complete all assigned tasks, including paperwork and clean up daily.

Schedule is rotating between morning, afternoon, and night shifts and candidates must be available for all hours.

Salary: $52 per hour with plenty of overtime if desired. Excellent benefits and strong retirement plan contribution are included.

Required Qualifications:

1. Red Seal or Journeyman Millwright ticket
2. Experience in heavy industrial/manufacturing environment
3. Ability to read and interpret work drawings, schematics, and specifications
4. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
5. Adaptable to environmental changes, including confined space, heights, temperature, and other elements
6. Must be able to clear a medical and background pre-employment check
7. Legally entitled to work in Canada for any employer
