S2 Workforce Solutions is looking for a skilled Red Seal Journeyman Millwright in Saskatchewan!

How you make an impact:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical and electrical components of production equipment.
  • Install equipment and machines to meet specifications.
  • Possess strong knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated equipment.
  • Determine causes of failure and identify the best repair methods.
  • Ensure machines operate efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime.
  • Conduct routine inspections and adjust machinery to maintain optimal production quality.
  • Assemble and install equipment.
  • Follow safe work practices to repair, install, upgrade, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment in a manufacturing setting.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance programs and modify equipment as needed.
  • Participate in plant shutdowns and equipment overhauls as required.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and machine performance.
  • Perform other transitional duties as necessary.

What you bring to the role:

  • At least 3 years of related work experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • A strong commitment to safe work practices.
  • Attention to detail, proactive in diagnosing mechanical issues, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • A positive attitude, professionalism, and ability to work well both in teams and independently.

  • Depending on open positions at the time of hire, shifts are (subject to change in accordance with CBA):
    - 12-hour shifts (7 am – 7 pm), every second weekend is a 3-day weekend.
    - Mon – Fri 8 am – 4:30 pm.
  • Overtime is optional.
  • Benefits include health & dental, life insurance, AD&D, and WI – Company paid.

  • All required PPE and tools are supplied by the company.
